There is a tradition with the Novi Wildcats swim team before big swim meets; the bleaching of the hair. This past Saturday we were able to follow Sujay Kolli as he went through this process of having his hair bleached. The salon of choice, Lady Jane’s, is one the entire team uses. We filmed hair stylist, Teylor Pink, as she applied the bleaching product. As Sujay sat patiently waiting for the bleach to do its job on Sujay’s dark black hair, two of his teammates showed up for their bleaching party. Coming up this Thursday will be the final meet for the team and we will be there to capture the newly bleached heads of the Wild Cats as they jump in the water.
